Leddy Group is actively seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for a client in Belmont, NH.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager:
- Prepares, analyzes, and negotiates with suppliers for efficient delivery of products and services; tracks and develops reports to identify progress of cost saving initiatives.
- Respond to customer, outside sales and inside sales staff with all requests and questions
- Track daily requests for quotes to ensure prompt response to customers and prospects.
- Responsible for timely follow-up from inquiry to order.
- Make site visits to vendors to ensure quality products.
Qualifications of the Purchasing Manager:
- At least 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time, long term role for the right candidate.
